A nice view of Lassen Peak.

Lassen Volcanic National Park was established in 1916 and is one of the few places in the world where you can find all 4 types of volcano. Lassen peak is the largest plug dome volcano in the world. Between 1914 and 1921 there were several eruptions both minor and major.

Today you can take a nice scenic road through the park and see that it is very much an active volcanic area with activity all over.

Miss Lynn and I did a quick drive through in 2017. We will add more pics next time we come through.

You can check out a series of videos provided by the National Parks service. "click here"
