It was a beautiful day for a boat ride but admittedly the water was still a little cloudy. So while we got to see some beautiful things underwater it was not clear enough to declare an end to the disappointing luck here at the start to our adventure. |
After a lovely boat ride it was time to get the Airline on the phone and off course the phone number to the airlines is now giving us a message that the mailbox was full. Bad enough the hours for contact were limited to 12:00 to 5:00 but to get a full voice-mail was pretty damn frustrating. Par for the course I guess for this Airline. So still no luggage, no approved activities and feeling very trapped we spent another day just sitting around the resort in the sun trying to get a hold of the Airlines. I guess there could be worse places to be stuck but I am staring to chomp at the bit about doing something else and I know Miss Lynn is ready for something different. |
Not much to show on day 3. It sure is beautiful and the people who work here really do a fantastic job making it a great place but I want to get out and experience the real Jamaica! Not only hasn't our luggage shown up yet, the Airline did not even update us today and my frustration with them is officially elevated to mildly perturbed. Did I tell you not to fly Spirit Airlines yet? So the sunset was beautiful and day 3 was said and done. Met another lovely couple from Germany, Andrea and Matias He wanted to be called "Wolfgang" At least I think thats what he meant. We have been too tired and frustrated to get out or the night time activities and have yet to feel like our trip has truly started. |
There are a lot of Peacocks and egrets on the property. While they do a great job cleaning up after them. Still be prepared to dodge a fair amount of bird pooh. |
Another beautiful sunset at Sandals. |
