As you travel along highway 20 on Skagit island you will come across Pass Lake. It is a small turnout and parking lot. From here there are several hiking trails to explore the local area. Because we were pressed for time we did not get a chance to hike any of them, but they are there. |

| The crossing from Skagit island to Whidbey island is at a place called deception pass. This is one of the most scenic areas along this route. It is only a turnout but well worth the stop. Click on any image to enlarge. |  |
