Miami is a beautiful city

There was no real hurry for us to get out of the hotel. Our plane did not leave until 9:00 PM so we had all day to play. It was a good thing that we had plenty of time. Congratulations Miami, I have finally found a city I hate driving in than more than San Francisco. OMG this town has some serious road issues. My navigation system was confused as well. Taking us down streets that dead ended into canals and I will swear most of the streets were laid out along cow trails.

We left the hotel around 10:00 and decided we would take a bay cruise. Like I said driving in Miami I found to be a nightmare so it took a little while to over to that part of town. Once we were there it was time for lunch and off to see Miami from the the bay side.

It was a beautiful day perfect for a cruise. If you get a chance I highly recommend taking one. It lasts about an hour and a half and it is a fun activity. They serve drinks aboard so some really imbibe.

If you visit Miami don't forget a trip to the Art Deco District.

So after 5 days in Florida we have to pack it in and head on home. Another very successful adventure. We got to see the interesting side of Key West, discovered a perfect hotel in Key Largo, got to see gators, crocs, vultures, manatees and more. Perfect little get away.

So a quick trip through the Art Deco District and then off to the airport. If you decide to go to the Art Deco District be aware parking is almost impossible to find and expensive if you do. My recommendation would be park away from it and Get a taxi, uber or lyft in and out.
