We stayed the night in North Bend (Coos Bay) Oregon. And starting day 8 we are greeted with heavy fog and clouds. We could tell it was going to be a challenging day for photos. First stop was a drone flight at the Couquille river light house. It was a great flight and I am really feeling comfortable flying this thing and the experience I am getting on this trip will ensure the drone is going to be an ever increasing feature here at Roaddogs.

After a great flight we wandered for a while and made a few stops. Misty Meadows for Jam, Prehistoric Gardens for a leg stretch and then a run out to Cape Blanco, which turned out to be almost void of photo ops. From there a casual drive along the southern Oregon Coast with several stops and a final drone flight before entering California and settling down for the night in Crescent city. Panic set in once we got to the hotel room and had a chance to review the last drone flight. Towards the end was a gimbal glitch that made for some real bad video. I was hoping it was just a little sand in it and cleaned it the best I could. It made for a very anxious evening and I did not get a good nights sleep.
